Revit Transfer Rooms From Phase

Phasing in Revit is a very helpful feature. It gives us the tools to work on models representing projects with multiple phases and stages of construction. We can put each element in the correct phase – when it is created or demolished. But not exactly. There are some elements that can’t change phases and can’t be tracked through the model phases. Room elements are one of them. The rooms are defined by room bounding elements and when those elements have different phases it becomes messy and that is why probably the rooms can’t have phasing.

Still, quite often we have rooms needed through more than one phase. To achieve this we have to recreate each room manually in the desired phase. That is why we developed a tool that can transfer rooms from one phase to another. The destination phase is defined by the phase of the active view while the source phase is selected from a list.

Every organization has its special needs and requirements, right? Good news! We’re here to fulfill that gap.
